MENA · WANA · MOAN · ANMO

MENA is an English-language acronym referring to the Middle East and North Africa, a vast and strategically relevant region that extends from Morocco in North-West Africa to Iran in South-West Asia. The term generally encompasses all countries of the Middle East and North Africa and is widely used in geopolitical, economic, and international business contexts.

The same region is also referred to as WANA (West Asia and North Africa), a definition increasingly adopted in academic and strategic environments to better reflect its geographic and cultural scope. In French-speaking contexts, the acronyms MOAN and ANMO are commonly used, reflecting the same macro-regional framework.

Regardless of terminology, MENA/WANA represents one of the most complex and dynamic economic areas in the world—where cultural understanding, regulatory awareness, and institutional credibility are essential for successful market access and long-term presence.

Within this context, TDHI holds a unique position.
